Welcome & T-shirts!
This summer has been busy, but awesome! Our oldest got a brick-and-mortar job [+ he’s had another job too for over a year!], the kids went to summer camp, and all of them look so much older! And as for me, things that I’ve been working HARD on for months upon months are finally coming into fruition!
First thing to hit the internet, is our new T-SHIRTS!!! I was so very excited to make one for boys/men this time around…and of course there are separate ones for girls/women too. [Youth girl shirts also on our website!] Check them out, they're on sale NOW!!
AND, let me introduce you to my new partner in business, her name is Tara Joyce!! If you haven’t met her yet, I would love to introduce you through some fun questions…and I’m sure lots of videos and blogs to come. She loves Jesus and her family fiercely, and she’s a perfect complement to my semi-organized brain…her creativity is OFF THE CHARTS! [She drew and designed all the artwork for my new book coming this fall…you guys, she hand-drew an animated ARMADILLO…and it’s incredible!!!]

Alright Tara, why don’t we start with you telling me about your family…We are a tight-knit family of 4. I married my high school crush, and we have two wonderfully, amazing kiddos. We are fun, laid back, and love to be with our friends and family more than just about anything. We enjoy the outdoors and new experiences, but most of all we love when we can all be together.
If you could live anywhere, where would you live? I always said that I would live somewhere warm with a stable climate. BUUUUT, Pittsburgh reflects my personality – it’s all over the place (lol). I do find comfort in the safety of Pittsburgh though – no earthquakes, no tropical storms, and no scorpions…right!?
What is your favorite color and why? I LOVE the color, Yellow! It’s BRIGHT and FUN! It reminds me of the sun, and it makes me happy!
What sport did you love in high school? I have ALWAYS loved Track & Field. It was a big part of my life for a long time and has recently regained entry through my amazing kiddos who started running this year.
What makes you laugh? Umm...EVERYTHING! It is my favorite thing to do, and I seize every opportunity to let laughter fly. In an instant the swirl of chaos is brought to a halt with a heartfelt laugh. I do try to be aware of the setting, but sometimes I can’t contain it. It’s like trying to put toothpaste back in the tube, once it’s out, it’s out. Besides, it makes my heart happy.
Have you ever had braces?! Oh Yes, for what felt like FOR-EV-ERRRRRR until I hit my face on the wall and needed to have them removed. My orthodontist gave me the option of putting them back on when I healed…who gives a teenager that option?! I said “no” and today I regret that – lol.
If you could leave on vacation tonight, where would you go and why? It might depend on my mood – do I feel like stuffing myself with the best Swiss chocolates in the world while taking in the picturesque mountain views of Switzerland or relax on the beach. I would more than likely choose Fiji. I love the to be by the water and the beach is my favorite place to relax and read (and I can eat chocolate there, too). Fiji is a dream vacation.
What is the one thing that instantly makes your day better? Snuggling with my kids (and eating ice cream from the container)!
What is your favorite song to worship to right now? Quiet (Stripped) [Graves into Gardens: Morning & Evening] Elevation Worship/Elevation Rhythm
If you want people to walk away from these questions knowing this 1 thing about you, what would it be? JUST ONE!??! I don’t like planning – I enjoy going with the flow. Sometimes I get frustrated that I am not a more organized planner, it’s just not how I’m wired. But my plans are not His anyway. So, if I appear all over the place, I am, but I like it; Sorry I’m late! Spontaneity is my jam.
And that’s her in a nutshell! Pretty awesome, huh?! You’ll see a lot more from both of us in the upcoming months as we are getting prepped to launch our business together…and continue pointing people to Jesus!! [We designed these shirts together!]

Wow! Wow!! The excitement is bubbling within me, I can hardly contain it. What’s funny is, we have been working so hard and we knew this whole time and I was excited then, but it is out there, the shirts are out there and it is just so surreal; I LOVE IT!
I couldn’t imagine that God would have hand-picked one of the coolest ladies (EVERRRRR) to be my bestie and business partner. We make our requests known to God, we think we know what to expect and then He gives us the Michael Jordan game winning, free throw line SLAM DUNK!! Let me tell you ‘bout my Jesus 🥰😉. He is so good!
I couldn’t be happier or more blessed to do life and work together. There is so much more to come. We have so much in the works and CANNOT WAIT to get it all out there. We love to encourage, equip, speak life, and Truth!
