*excited spoiler alert!! Free gift/graphic below!!!*
Our daughter turned 7 last month!! And she was SO excited because she was able to have her very first birthday party with friends from school…
She planned it all out. We had a little tea party with all of her friends bringing their baby dolls to the tea party too, it was absolutely adorable!!…but it was what happened after the party that really surprised me. And today I am thrilled to get to share it with all of you!
We were driving later that day and she was in the back seat. We were almost to our destination when she handed me a piece of paper she had been working on during the drive. I took it and read it…she had written a sweet little poem:
It brought tears to my eyes!! I absolutely LOVED that she had written it and that she recognized she could spread characteristics of Jesus everywhere she goes!! You see, the first line of the poem “I leave a little sparkle everywhere I go…” was inspired by a gift bag someone had given her earlier that day that was super cute. And she loved the saying…but wanted it to say more 🙂 She wanted to let us know that she could leave love, grace, and peace everywhere she goes!! And that last sentence there, it’s what we had been teaching the kiddos the whole month of May…being someone of honesty and integrity.
I loved it so much, I asked her if I could share it with all of you!!! And she said yes!!!!! So, Abby and I have been working together for the last few weeks putting it into a graphic form for you to print!!! [with correct spelling ;)] There are 2 different styles…Abby’s favorite is the one with the heart on the bottom.
I would love for you to take this as a special gift from a special 7 year old. Feel free to share this post, so others can use it in graphic form too!! I’ll be printing a copy, framing it and hanging it in our girls rooms 🙂
One last thing: a little note from Abby to you! ‘I hope you like it and I hope you leave a little bit of Jesus everywhere you go!’

[I totally don’t know how to do graphics all on my own, so I enlisted the help of one of my greatest friends, Marcy, owner of “Narrow is the Gate Designs” on Etsy!! She very graciously did the designs for us and did such a great job!! You should go check her store out, she sells amazing handmade jewelry!!!]
